World Kidney Day 2017
World Kidney Day 2017 was celebrated in Doncaster Royal Infirmary with a brilliant presentation by Becky Stevenson and Sarah Childs, two of the wonderful nurses on the renal ward 32 who together held an information and educational display outside of the hospital restaurant.
They did free blood pressure checks and provided information on healthy eating, diet, exercise and diabetes related items.
They invited DaBKA to attend to showcase what we do for patients and their families.
The day was a great succsess, many people stopped and asked questions, and had blood pressure checks, some were suprised with the results, and even the renal consultants took part too!
