Sainsburys Supermarket Collection

On Sunday the 2nd of October 2016, DaBKA was invited by Sainsburys supermarket at Edenthorpe Doncaster to hold a charity collection in their foyer.

Captain Kidney along with Mary and Andy Wraith went along to raise funds and awareness of our charity in the area.

The day was a great succsess, with a total amount collected of £118.24 donated from the customers of Sainsburys.

We look forward to other events in the future with other businesses.  A big thank you to Gaynor at the store for all her help in arranging the collection.

Ellie Kirk Climbs Mount Snowdon

What an amazing achievement!

Ellie Kirk aged 10 years old climbed up Mount Snowdon this summer to raise funds for DaBKA and show support for her mum who has been diagnosed with kidney disease earlier this year.

Ellie, along with her auntie and uncle (pictured above) conqured the highest

mountain in Wales, a total of 7,120ft up and down, with sponsorship money

totalling over £1,385 - a remarkable effort. We will show you the presentation

pictures as soon as we get them, I think you will agree that this is one very

special young lady and on behalf of everyone at DaBKA we would like to say

a very big thank you to Ellie and her family for all their support to make this

possible. It`s people like you who make all the difference. I am told that Ellie

is already looking for her next challenge for another good cause. Well Done.
